we got out of work a bit early today, so i went for a drive to Oceanside with all the intention in the world of getting pictures by the train tracks. instead, i got sidetracked by some flowers that looked amazing in the setting sun. this flower didn't jump out at me until i had pulled over and was walking around, but it was a nice pop of color in the midst of all the greenery. :-)
